When one of two women, partners for more than fifty years, falls inside their hoarded apartment and refuses help, they face an impossible choice—call for help and be separated forever, or remain together and wait for the inevitable.

Basing the script loosely on the themes and circular dialogue of Samuel Beckett’s masterpiece, Waiting for Godot, allowed me to add dark humor to an otherwise tragic love story. The hoard filling their overstuffed apartment isn't just clutter; it's a manifestation of their anxiety, a physical weight left behind by lives that threw them unexpected curveballs.
